The gateway into flightPOS’ technology is the Connection Hub, its integration capabilities allow flightPOS to support existing airline systems.

Flexible and multi-faceted

The preferred technology when connecting systems is the popular RESTful API, with JSON objects. There are no restrictions though, any method can be used to interface with flightPOS, providing a route for legacy systems e.g. XML, CSV, or SFTP/FTP.

Aside from the regular data source connections, the flightPOS entities are overflowing with versatility, e.g:

  • The POS can integrate with third party back office systems

  • The payment processing component can provide services to existing third party POS, IFE or W-IFE
  • Dockerised payment capture and stock management products integrate with W-IFE vendors extending capabilities as a value-add proposition
  • Integration with preferred acquirers for secure PCI compliant payment data handling
